Invertrovert
Jump in and compete against your friends and family to be the ruler of the board!
Game made for Godot Wild Jam 39 | Theme: Inversion
Goal:
Control your cube to invert the board to your color, showing your supreme rule of the land!
- Invert empty squares to score 1 point
- Invert other players squares to score 2 points
- Form large rectangles to convert all other colors internally
- You are a slime
- You can jump around the place using your desired controls.
- You earn points by inverting control of squares to be yours:
- 1 point for empty
- 2 points for other players
- To maximize your points, form a box to surround squares you want to invert. This will cause them to all invert at once.
- Collect power ups to help you take over the area faster, but beware!
Controls:
NOTE: You have to press the direction key for the input you are wanting to be able to join with that input. If you try to click with the mouse you will likely have joined with that instead. If you can't move with your desired input, try refresh the game and press it's keys/buttons on the join screen.
- Keyboard 1 (rebindable in settings): up/down/left/right
- Keyboard 2 (rebindable in settings): WASD
- Controller (supports up to 4): Directional buttons
- Touch/Mouse: Swipe in the direction you want to travel
Known bugs:
- Audio can be really loud at start of game and not able to be controlled in settings. Check if settings updates volume, or restart to fix.
- Sometimes the player or AI will stop completely after getting the speed power up. A restart is required to fix.
